I think everything is mixed up in Russia now. To attack another country is to defend. To condemn the theft of officials is to be a US spy. Etc.
And I decided to express my opinion on how patriotism differs from fascism.
Patriotism is love for the motherland and one’s country.
Fascism is love for the government and the dictator, and hatred for everything unusual.
Patriotism is pride in the accomplishments of one’s country. See her weaknesses. Recognize them. And try to fix them.
Fascism is to hate those who are at least in some way better than your country and to belittle their achievements.
Patriotism is to consider all citizens of your country equal, albeit with their own traditions.
Fascism is to divide the citizens of your country into good and bad, into those who deserve more and into an inferior race.
Patriotism is to recognize that even the best and most worthy in your country can make mistakes and even commit a crime.
Fascism is to regard the leaders of one’s country as infallible and the very best, despite their faults and crimes.
Patriotism is to wish peace and wealth for your country.
Fascism is to think that all problems in one’s own country can be solved by war with other countries.
I wanted to use a photograph of a swastika as an illustration for this article, but in my country it is forbidden under the threat of prison. 😅
Я думаю, что сейчас в России всё перепутано. Напасть на другую – это значит защищаться. Осуждать воровство чиновников – это значит быть шпионом США. И т.д.
И я решил высказать своё мнение чем патриотизм отличается от фашизма.
Патриотизм – это любовь к родине и своей стране.
Фашизм – это любовь к правительству и диктатору, и ненависть ко всему непривычному.
Патриотизм – это гордится достижениями своей страны. Видеть её слабости. Признавать их. И стараться их исправить.
Фашизм – это ненавидеть тех, кто хоть в чём-то лучше твоей страны и принижать их достижения.
Патриотизм – это считать всех граждан своей страны равными, хоть и со своими собственными традициями.
Фашизм – это делить граждан своей страны на хороших и плохих, на тех, кто достоин большего и на низшую расу.
Патриотизм – это признавать, что даже лучший и самый достойный в твоей стране может ошибиться и даже совершить преступление.
Фашизм – это считать лидеров своей страны непогрешимыми и самыми лучшими, несмотря на их промахи и преступления.
Патриотизм — это желать мира и благополучия своей стране.
Фашизм состоит в том, чтобы думать, что все проблемы в собственной стране можно решить войной с другими странами.
Я хотел использовать фотографию свастики в качестве иллюстрации к этой статье, но в моей стране это запрещено под угрозой тюрьмы. 😅
